They have gone through the process of finding their way in the fashion world and know what it takes to excel and succeed. They are committed to giving back and nurturing the next generation of designers.
NYSD’s 3D Fashion Design equips students with the artistic and technical skills necessary to work as a Technical Designer and Garment Visualization Specialist for modern brands.
NYSD’s Fashion Technical Design program prepares students with the skills to execute technical designs and technical packs for positions such as technical designer, technical Illustrator, production coordinator, quality control assistant, and patternmaker.
The Entrepreneurship for Fashion Designers equips the student with diverse opportunities and roles in the fashion industry, such as fashion start-up founder, product development manager, fashion marketing strategist, fashion retail entrepreneur and fashion business consultant.
The Fashion Design Professional equips students with skills in strategic collections development, construction, and personal branding to pursue diverse roles in the fashion industry such as a fashion designer, patternmaker, stylist, or even start their own fashion enterprise.
The Fashion Design Certificate provides students with the skills required for entry-level positions, including design assistant, assistant patternmaker, sample room manager, production assistant, stylist, and assistant technical designer.
