This course applies to persons who are required to wear breathing apparatus for part of their job because they are working in a confined space, with hazardous gases/vapours, in irrespirable atmospheres or for other applications requiring the wearing of breathing apparatus.
This course applies to persons who are required to work safely at heights. It includes: Identifying the work requirements, work procedures and instructions for the task; accessing and installing equipment, performing work at heights; and cleaning up the work area.
The overall aim of the program being to provide the ERT with the skills and knowledge to be able to effectively undertake the Emergency Response functions in an emergency situation at the organisations site.
This course is designed to teach participants scenarios of when gas testing may be required, how to determine what types of gases may be present, how to conduct gas testing and how to maintain the devices.
