About Me

Hi, I’m Petra, a freelance training consultant based in Leybourne, covering Kent, London, Essex, Sussex and the whole UK. I offer a variety of Ofqual accredited courses in First Aid, Mental Health, Health & Safety and Fire Safety that meet HSE/OFSTED/EYFS criteria.

I am a qualified, highly experienced instructor who is DBS checked and First Aid trained.

My professional experience spans 24 years within the hospitality sector, working in Learning & Development roles. After taking a break in 2020 to have my two children, I set up my own training consultancy business, Petrain Services. Alongside this, I am proud to sponsor the Lift Industry Mental Health Charter . This industry and subject matter are very close to my heart, so I am honoured to serve as both the trainer for the charter and a committee member.

I work with a variety of clients, businesses, and industries. I care about every business I work with and will always work to get an insight into it before running a course, because I want a client to have a personalised version of the content. I pride myself on receiving regular feedback from attendees, commenting on how natural, honest, and relevant I made the training for them.
