The Premier Dance Academy was established in 1994 by its principal, Tania Whelan. Prior to this time the Academy was well known as The Sayers Dance Centre.
Tania is a fully registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dancing (R.A.D) after gaining her Teaching Certificate with Distinction and later her Teaching Diploma.
An introduction to movement for children turning 3 in the year they attend. The main focus is on enjoyment and creativity through movement, music and mime.
In Premier Dance singing classes, students are taught to develop a safe and correct vocal technique, along with elements of music including rhythm, pitch accuracy, musicality and aural skills.
This class involves the latest street dance movements to the latest music. This class is for students 6 years & up. Hip Hop at Premier Dance is taught by rewnowned Brisbane Hip Hop dancer, teacher and choreographer Errol Cenita.
