The mission of OSHA is to assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.

Some of the things OSHA does to carry out its mission are 1) Developing job safety and health standards and enforcing them through work site inspections, 2) Providing training programs to increase knowledge about occupational safety and health. Course Duration: 4 days, 7.5 Hours Each Day. $375 pp.

This course is designed to aid the candidate in understanding the material and work requirements to pass the written exam to obtain an Engineer's License. Stationary engineers and boiler operators control stationary engines, boilers, or other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings or for industrial purposes.

The majority of NYC stationary engineers and boiler operators work in manufacturing, government, educational services, and hospitals.

Those who work in facilities that operate around the clock often work evenings and weekends. Shift work also is common. This is not a qualifying course; it is preparatory only. Course Duration: 5 Days, 3 Hours Each Day. $650 pp
