Established in 1985, Red Blossom Tea Company is San Francisco’s premier source for artisanal tea and teaware.

We are direct importers, traveling each year to the tea gardens that produce our range of premium whole leaf teas. During our sourcing trips, we focus on provenance, variety, season, and craft as our guide to the best crops.

Founded by the Luong family in San Francisco's diverse Chinatown neighborhood, our company was originally known as Yau Hing (meaning 'to flourish again'), a nod to our community's immigrant background and the opportunity we received for a fresh start in this country.

While our family business has evolved over the years, one thing hasn't changed: our dedication to sourcing the highest quality tea and teaware available. We offer a selection of nearly 100 teas and a knowledgeable staff to guide your discovery.
