The dry safety centres provide hands-on classroom training or onsite programs, allowing for customised safety and maritime training programs and curriculum that meet the stringent compliance and regulations of the industry nationwide. As an added benefit, our wet locations include OPITO approved sea survival courses.
The purpose of this course is that the delegates obtain the knowledge, skills and attitude that make the delegates able to work safely in and around Confined Space. Main focus is prevention, and therefore the course is not a rescue course.
To refresh previous gained knowledge obtained in STCW VI/1-2 basic safety training. Valid STCW Fire prevention and Fire Fighting certificate and Valid maritim medical certificate.
To give the participants knowledge about H2S, equipment and procedures. The participants must know where and when there is a risk of H2S gas, how it is spread under different circumstances.
