SCU Safety Training Providers and SHEQ Consultants is a proudly South African, 100% black-owned full-service health and safety training and SHEQ services company based in Gauteng Province, South Africa. It has offices in Johannesburg and East London.

SCU Training was founded by its dynamic leader, Mrs Vuyelwa Ude. Mrs Ude has vast field experience as well as relevant qualifications. She worked for Murray and Roberts at one of the biggest projects in South Africa MEDUPI. 

She also acquired her skills from her extensive work at ESKOM, as a Safety Practitioner. SCU is an accredited training provider with HWSETA: Accreditation number HW591PA162679.

Our mission statement is to assist employers, supervisors and workers to understand, comply with, and implement Health and Safety Legislation in an effort to eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses. We achieve this by conducting audits to inform A-grade health and safety training, compliance, safety files and systems.
