Skillfull was founded in 2006 by Mr Jacques Smith, with the primary focus to address the mining industry Occupational Health and Safety training needs. In the beginning, legislative and skills-based training services were offered to South African mining industry-based companies.

This soon expanded to include training services to many international clients. Today, our range of specialty solutions and geographic coverage has grown exponentially, as to include most corporate mining companies in South Africa.

Skillfull now operates as specialty business units, laser-focused on our clients’ and students’ needs. Our licences, trademarks and accreditations extend to both global and local agencies, and we maintain a robust, talent and supplier network.

All our facilitators, assessors and moderators are handpicked as subject matter experts, with many years’ experience in the training and Occupational Health and Safety field.

Skillfull assists clients with needs analysis, the designing of customised learning programmes, and consultancy on health and safety related matters, including the implementation of health and safety management systems.
