STEPZ

STEPZ is established since 1995 known as Fonteyn Academy of Dancing by the founder Evon Chng.

Over the years, with the idea of establishing a school with potential to open up greater avenues of creative arts, Fonteyn Academy of Dancing has transformed and expanded to STEPZ house of creative arts with the collaborations of Evon and Gan in year 2007. A new branch was set up in 2009 at Kota Kemuning, run by Evon and Song.

STEPZ strives to provide students with a wide-ranging curriculum in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Creative Class, Belly Dance, Latin, Martial Art and also provide Teacher’s Training Course with the emphasis on RAD, Royal Academy of Dance (UK), ISTD, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (UK) as well as CSTD, Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (Australia). 

We provide many different classes for students ranging from the age of three to all levels, from those dancing for purely enjoyment to those pursuing for professional career in dance.

STEPZ shoulder the responsibilities in ensuring the students to get the best out of the guidance and technique shared, special attention will always be given to develop on individual, focusing on their special strengths and talents.

We aim towards academically nurture the students by exposing and encourage them to participate in concerts, competitions, TV appearances, charity shows from our well-trained, experienced and enthusiast tutor.

STEPZ has been always looking forward to develop the talents so that one day they could achieve and live their dreams as a competitive dancer.

STEPZ explores many different forms of dance and have proudly produced many students of fine standards in the industry. In the short run, STEPZ is sending students to compete in TDS, The Ballet Solo Competition as well as sending students to further their fulltime studies in professional dancer course in EBS, Ena Ballet School (Japan), NTBS, National Theatre Ballet School (Australia), JBS, Joffrey Ballet School (New York) and etc.

Spearhead by a team of enthusiast professionals, STEPZ continues to make a significant contribution to the dance industry both in Malaysia and abroad.
