It all began when Sheila Burdett, discovered a new talent as a driving instructor and started up Eastern Suburbs Driving School. Not long after, Sheila's husband Paul joined her and later their daughter Sarah too (known to many now as Sarah McPhee).
In search of expert advice Sheila & Paul headed over to the United States to research driver training. They bought back with them a wealth of knowledge, resources.
And teaching methods. Eastern Suburbs Driving School eventually became The Amalgamated Auto Academy (AAA Driving School), and then Triple A Driving School.
Through a defensive driving course, drivers are made aware of the stressors in their lives, the multiplicity of tasks they have to manage and how these can build up and overload the driver.
