The Tshwane School of Music offers subsidized contemporary music courses in various instruments, music theory, music business and music technology.

There is also a weekly music theory class and ensemble class per student in order to prepare them for possible further undergraduate studies in the music field. Adult classes are offered in the early evenings in all of the above instruments.
The school is also working with some of the local church bands where some of the church musicians come for lessons regarding the specific music they are working on in the church music groups.
