UBU Dance Studio is a dance environment that encourages you to grow yourself as a dancer while still preserving your unique style. We celebrate the love of dance and individualism while still maintaining the foundations in strength, technique, flexibility and hard work. We provide various styles including Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary.
Our classes include various age groups and levels, from novice to advanced competitive levels. Our teachers are friendly, highly qualified and experienced and will inspire you to be the best dancer you can be. We offer Dance Exams within the TDA, RAD and ISTD Syllabuses. We also participate in various competitions, workshops and other dance opportunities.
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary often embodies a lot of lyrical qualities and floor work.
Jazz is a technical dance form that focuses on the use of performance and storytelling. Jazz often embodies elements of ballet and contemporary and is strongly rooted in modern dance techniques.
Very fun and energetic dance style, incorporating a lot of the urban and street styles. We use the TDA syllabus. We also offer exams, competitions and other various dance opportunities. Hip Hop dance classes are available to variety of ages from 4years to adults.
A free form of dance with a very technical background. It uses a lot of expression in dance and breathe in movement. We use the ISTD modern Syllabus and we offer modern dance exams.
Ballet is a very technical and disciplined dance style done to classical music. We use the R.A.D Syllabus of ballet and we offer the option to do ballet exams.
