The Wayne Township Fire Department is a Professional Emergency Services agency providing Fire Protection, Specialized Rescue Services, Hazardous Materials Response, and Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Care to over 140,000 residents.
Within 36 square miles of the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana. Annually, the department responds to over 15,000 calls for service and provides advanced medical care to nearly 8,000 citizens.
The Wayne Township Fire Department is an NFPA 1710 compliant and ISO Class 1 organization, proud to serve the residents, workers and visitors of Wayne Township, the City of Indianapolis, and Marion County.
There are two CPR certifications available: BLS Provider for prehospital medical professionals and Heartsaver AED for non-medical professionals. An individual does not need to take both versions of the class.
