Whanganui Osteopathy

Whanganui Osteopathy was the amalgamation, in 2019, of the practices of Jonathan Lloyd Paine and Nigel Brooke. Both graduated in 1989; Nigel from the European School of Osteopathy and Jonathan from the British School of Osteopathy.

In addition to over 60 combined years of clinical experience, both have been involved in a range of other aspects of osteopathic life, providing professional input for the likes of Osteopaths New Zealand, the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and ACC (see biographies for more detail).

The amalgamation of these practices came from a shared desire to do things differently. Whanganui Osteopathy is a practice that offers an environment for sharing, collaboration and continued learning, to facilitate the best possible outcomes for you.

This may involve liaising with other disciplines in the Whanganui area. As such, the team has built effective working relationships with a range of GPs, physiotherapists and consultants over the years.

We understand that a “one size fits all” model doesn’t work in the management of your health. So, with that in mind, we endeavour to offer a bespoke approach to managing your health and wellbeing: an approach that also sees you as in integral part of that management team. We aren’t here to simply do things to you, but we are here to work with you.
