Winonah School of Cosmetology is a family owned and managed School. Founded in 1986, the school was one of the first private cosmetology schools to be licensed in the State of Alabama. Winonah School of Cosmetology has a long held history of training highly qualified practitioners of Cosmetology and the beauty culture arts.

The Alabama Board of Cosmetology requires completion of 210 hours and a passing grade to receive a Natural Hair Styling License. This program focuses on teaching natural hair care, braiding and twisting skills, sanitization and professionalism.
The Manicure course content is 750 hours of instruction in applied sciences and skills in manicuring, pedicuring, and artificial nail applications. As a Manicure student, you will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and practical skills required to work as a trained nail technician.
Students enrolled in the Cosmetology Program will learn basic foundation of courses in hair sculpting and cutting, shampooing, styling, anatomy, sanitation and hygiene.
