COURSES OFFERED BY WINONAH SCHOOL OF COSMETOLOGY

Students enrolled in the Cosmetology Program will learn basic foundation of courses in hair sculpting and cutting, shampooing, styling, anatomy, sanitation and hygiene.

The Manicure course content is 750 hours of instruction in applied sciences and skills in manicuring, pedicuring, and artificial nail applications. As a Manicure student, you will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and practical skills required to work as a trained nail technician.

The Alabama Board of Cosmetology requires completion of 210 hours and a passing grade to receive a Natural Hair Styling License. This program focuses on teaching natural hair care, braiding and twisting skills, sanitization and professionalism.
