?This course is intended to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to apply First Aid to adults casualty and to use the External Defibrillator (AED) Safety.

The course will equip learners with essential knowledge and application skills in providing basic first aid, performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and apply them to their workplace.

This Basic First Aid + AED course is for participants in Singapore whom need to acquire the skill of handling common emergencies and basic first aid, CPR and the application of automated external defibrillator (AED).

The intent of this 1 day course is to develop skills in each participant with regard to performing first aid actions and basic life support techniques and AED at worksite.

The CERT Scheme was expanded to include a broader group of Public and Industrial premises with the amendments to the Fire Safety Act on 14 September 2020. In the updated Fire Safety Act (Chapter 109A), all premises with Fire Safety Managers are required to set up a CERT.
