This training provides delegates with the skills and knowledge they need to be able to react positively to a fire or possible fire at their premises.

This qualification is intended for those that are undertaking the role of a fire marshal in a workplace. The qualification builds on the QNUK Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work (RQF) and includes safe evacuation and personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS).

Nominated Fire Marshals (or Fire Wardens) help to co-ordinate the safe evacuation from a workplace in a fire emergency.

The cause of the fire is still unknown but an investigation found that, three months earlier, a fire risk assessment had been prepared by an employee who was not responsible for fire safety. The failure of that assessment led to confusion on the evening of the fire.

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Fire Safety for Fire Marshals Course is a one-day course designed for those who have the responsibility for being the fire marshal in the workplace, including regular fire safety checks and co-ordinating the evacuation. 

As per The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, your business should have nominated competent persons who will administer fire safety on-site. With fire safety wardens, you know that there will be qualified persons to take the lead in an emergency.

This course also covers the 3 hour Fire Warden course syllabus. This can be delivered in the first 3 hours of the course.  You can have some people just attend the first 3 hours to be a Fire Warden and have others stay for the full day to be a Fire Marshal.
