In this class you will learn to use an inkle loom and tablets to weave simple designs. With the same threading, you will be able to weave pattern variations depending on how you turn the tablets. It is fun to experiment and see what new patterns you can create!
We will get you started spinning on a modern wheel, and will discuss and experience some of the common fibers textile artists (as in, anyone who creates handmade textiles) use most. Don't miss this opportunity to try your hand at spinning!
