From making and cooking Thai curries, classic stir fries, noodle dishes and spicy salads, this class is perfect for those who love Thai food and are keen to learn the tips and techniques to recreate these in your own home.
We will teach you how to perfect the flavour balance of hot, salty, sour and sweet with aromatics that we all love in Thai cuisine.
The cooking school team will also show you where to source authentic Thai ingredients which are now readily available throughout the country.
The inspiration to start the Akaroa Cooking School came from a trip to The Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School and we bring our favourite Thai recipes to the cooking school on the day.
The day begins at 10am for coffee, tea and freshly made treats from the kitchen and will conclude around 4pm.
