Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.

To master an acro trick students must develop a good foundation of strength and flexibility, thus emphasis is placed on extensive conditioning involving stretch and strength training.
All of our teaching staff are parents or school teachers. We understand the needs of our students and we care for them like they are our own. Each class has an assistant teacher.
Students Learn Basic Balances and Tumbling Skills As Well as Partner Work
Preschool Plus Combo classes is offered by Kids Can Dance. This class is a combination of Tap, Ballet and Acro. Students will learn two routines.    Â
The classes focus on flexibility while teaching the basic technique of tumbling. The children will learn at their own pace to perform such moves as somersaults, cartwheels, walkovers, aerials and handsprings. Quite often this technique will be added to other areas of the dance program.
