All of our instructors have degrees in dance, in a college dance program or have professional experience in the dance industry. With our staff's expertise our students are ensured to have success with all dance activities.
Strength, flexibility, balance, alignment and artistry are the focuses of our ballet program. We work to stay true to ballet’s traditions and rich history while incorporating 21st century knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, pedagogy and inclusion.
?In this class, students will learn ballet terminology and basic ballet steps with proper technique. Students will spend time at the barre, in center and doing across the floor movement as they progress.
Ballet 1 (Ages 5–7) classes are offered by Nieves Latin Dance Studio. All Children are required to wear their uniform to class
WADA offers a classical ballet program to dancers 5 years and older. Dancers will learn ballet technique through barre and center work. Combinations will become progressively more complicated as the dancer excels.
