Started in 2019, this program explores issues of Diversity and Inclusion in Dance through a series of events hosted by the Teen Leadership Team. The Teen Leadership Team is comprised of ATD Teens from many genres, levels, and identities who are passionate about Diversity and Inclusion topics.
In this introduction to ballet technique, students will explore basic ballet skills, including the 5 positions for feet and arms, and will become familiar with ballet terminology. Flexibility will play an important role in this beginning level

Ballet 1 (Ages 5–7) classes are offered by Nieves Latin Dance Studio. All Children are required to wear their uniform to class
The basic foundation of all forms of dance. Students will learn the fundamentals, placement, posture, and discipline associated with ballet technique. We encourage every student who wants to improve their overall dance technique to enroll in ballet. This class is for toddlers 2.5 years to adult
This class is designed to introduce students to basic techniques of ballet and modern dance. Learning skills in these dance forms will allow students to experience each style of dance will improving their flexibillity, sense of rhythm, overall coordination, and strength.
