Pre-School ballet classes provide a foundation in dance. The children are introduced to basic movements i.e. jumping, hopping, skipping as well as confidence, musicality and expression.
The most important thing is to have fun with music and rhythm.
The ballet school follows the Royal Academy of Dance graded and vocational exams. Students are encouraged to enter exams but it is not compulsory.
Pre-Primary to Grade 1 attend 1 class per week with additional lessons closer to the exam date. From Grade 2, students attend 2 classes per week.
Vocational & Higher Grade students are expected to attend at least 3 classes per week.
Refers to a type of performance dance that originated in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia.

These classes provide your young dancer access to technical and artistic skills of ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance skills taught at an age appropriate level through a fun and creative lens.
During a private lesson, dancers can expect to work on specific areas of syllabus, improve general technique and apply corrections, and be taken through a dance-specific strength and conditioning program designed just for them.
These classes will cover technique, performance presentation & introduce steps outside the exam syllabi. Recommended for all students from Intermediate & up.
