Nashville Dance Center provides recreational and competitive dance instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop and tumbling to over 450 students weekly. Our studio is filled with girls and boys ages 18 months – 18 years old each day!
Teen Ballet I: Our Teen Ballet I class is an intermediate level class dedicated to imparting the art of classical ballet. We begin with stretches specific to strengthening the feet and ankles
Builds fundamental concepts in the art of classic ballet. In the beginning, students will learn positions, skipping, and leaping. Later, they will progress to pirouettes and grand allegro.
We at the Academy of Dance urge all students to select ballet as their basic dance form. Whether the student has professional aspirations or is merely dancing for enjoyment, ballet offers the basic discipline and technique necessary to succeed in all other dance forms
The Xchange Program is Zenon’s work-study program that allows students to volunteer in exchange for dance class credit.
In order to create a positive, inquisitive and highly focused learning environment, I honor each student’s physical individuality and unique learning process.
