The class incorporates excercises on the bar, centre combinations, and across the floor movements giving students a strong knowledge of the vocabulary, technique, and placement of classical ballet.
Shee’k Dance Studio has been established since 2010 and is situated in the heart of Port Melbourne. The variety of styles we teach include Hip-hop, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Break Dancing, Classical Ballet and Creative Dance for our little ones.

EDC offers ballet classes for all ages and abilities. Ballet is an excellent foundation for all styles of dance and is a great starting point.
By invitation only. We are conservative, with who we let dance "en pointe" There are number of criteria that students need to meet to be able to begin pointe classes.
Progressing Ballet Technique is a body strengthening programme focusing on alignment, weight placement and core strength. These exercises help students engage the muscles responsible for turnout and is a great programme for improving ballet technique and preventing injuries.
Learning Ballet gives students core stability, strength, control, coordination and correct body alignment. Training in Ballet provides a strong technical base for other dance styles such as Jazz, Contemporary and Lyrical.
