Whilst not compulsory, we encouraged all students to participate, with the intention to motivate and reward students of all ages & abilities, outlining a progressive structure for learning and achievement. (RAD, 2020).
Students taking part in this examination must attend their two compulsory graded ballet classes and one half an hour pointe class (Intermediate Foundation-Advanced 2) to learn their required syllabus.

Ballet builds strength and discipline in both mind and body
Classes for Classical Ballet at JE Dancehouse start from the age of 2 with our Mummy and Me class. They continue through to Advanced 2.
Cecchetti ballet syllabus teaching poise, line, body placement, grace, strength and confidence as well as mastering steps and arm movements that form the basic skills for all styles of dance.
Classical ballet teaches you the importance of technique. There is strong emphasis placed on learning correct posture, foot articulation & weight placement as well as artistry and musicality. This is learnt of course in a fun, safe learning environment.
