Students begin learning the basics steps required in ballet and training exercises to set them up for the requirements of the RAD syllabus - eg. plies, tendus, marching, sautes etc.
These are taught alongside safe practises to ensure growing bodies are well-maintained. The class is still interactive with props and class-mates and is set up to inspire students for a life-long love of ballet.
There are no exams at this level, however students are invited to participate in the end of year show.
