Simone’s School of Performing Arts has brought the joy and passion of dance to the hearts of many families since 1991. An upbeat and energetic combination of dance, acrobatics and stunting. Currently becoming increasingly more popular from the Netflix show 'Cheer' this is one not to miss in 2021!
Cheerleading classes are offered by Centre Stage Dance Studios. Catering for 5-18yrs. Teaches Pom techniques and basic stunts.
This class is all about having FUN while holding POM POMS! This is a mix between our Backstreet Jazz/Funk and Cheerleading.
Cheerleading is a dynamic and fun sport which involves components such as tumbling, jumps, stunting, dance, strength & fitness. There is both a competitive & recreational side to the sport which promotes both friendships & team work to gain the best results. Â
Students who show dedication and skill get selected for troupe. They are required to do ballet, jazz and tap within the Academy. They perform around Darwin and even travel interstate for competitions. The Darwin Performance Academy troupe girls were the official cheerleaders for the NT Thunder.
