Our 3-hour Chinese Banquet class introduces you to Chinese cooking- exactly how it is done at home!

We teach you the secrets of how to make perfectly crisp double-cooked Pork Belly, deliciously juicy Fujian Fried Rice, spicy and sticky Sichuan Aubergine and moreish Yuk-Sung in crunchy lettuce cups.

 

  • Crispy Pork Belly - Double-cooked tender yet crispy Pork Belly seasoned with traditional Chinese 5-spice.
  • Fujian Fried Rice- Crispy fried rice served with a delicious sweet and salty sauce with mixed seafood
  • Sichuan Style Aubergine- Aubergine- or eggplant stir-fried in a spicy, sticky and sour sauce garnished with spring onion
  • Yuk Sung in Lettuce Cups- Chinese sausage and mince marinated in a sweet and savoury sauce served in a crisp lettuce leaf and garnished with crushed cashew nuts.

You will learn:

  • You will learn the basics of cutting, slicing and chopping using a Chinese cleaver.

  • Our Head Chef will also introduce you to wok cooking in our specially equipped kitchen where you can awaken your inner wok-star skills!

  • Our classes also teach you the key basics of Chinese seasoning and what sauces to use to make delicious Chinese dishes every time!

 

With help from our Head Chef you’ll learn how to activate your inner Wok-hey skills and how to master the Chinese cleaver to become a true School of Wok Wokstar!
