They will learn how to work the chocolate and experiment with different coating. At the end of the process, they will be able to taste it an and express their preferences. Students will also practice the related French vocabulary
To begin, we will talk about chocolate: where its from, what it is (single origin, bean to bar etc.) and what we do with it while sampling chocolate during this segment.
Explore the world of cocoa that inspires our expertise. Savor and taste a variety of cocoa beans to discover their distinctive aromas and nuances. Learn about the stages of roasting, breaking and grinding cocoa.
Some of our specialty classes have included chocolate making, beer & wine menu pairing, bread making, musical guest “chefs” and mead making. These classes may include a hands-on component and always have something delicious to eat, although a full meal might not be included.
At the end of the class you take almost 2 pounds of chocolates you’ve made to share with family, coworkers or just to enjoy yourself!
