The Certificate in Construction Estimating program is the first program of its kind in Canada to be fully-accredited by the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) as meeting the academic requirements for a Construction Estimator Certified (CEC) designation.

This course will provide the student with an understanding of behaviour and design of reinforced concrete and masonry products based on the latest National Building Code of Canada (NBCC) and Concrete Design handbooks.
Programs are on a regularly scheduled basis but are limited for space.
During this six-week program, students will become well-versed in the fundamentals of concrete reinforcing, including the types of reinforcing materials, reinforcement placement, and the role of reinforcement in enhancing the structural integrity of concrete structures.
This course is for anyone who is involved with concrete and who wants to enhance their basic knowledge of the subject.
