Dance Discovery was set up in 2013 by Clare Bungay specialising in RAD ballet, ISTD Tap and Jazz, Hip-Hop and Zumba for ages 18 months to Adults.
The main aim of the dance school is fun and enjoyment while working towards RAD & ISTD exams throughout the year. We also have various performance opportunities which we encourage pupils to attend, such as gala days, Christmas fairs and our own annual showcase.
Senior Id Contemporary classes are offered by KS Dance Academy. We offer many wonderful experiences for our students including the opportunity to participate in exams, shows, galas and fairs, festivals and competitions.
We are fortunate to have a specialist Contemporary Dance teacher on our staff. Contemporary Dance is the preferred dance style for Key Stage 3 and 4 study and at Degree Level.
For those who haven't found their style yet, contemporary fuses elements of different styles of dance together. Creating its own specific yet unique style.
Contemporary dance is an expressive style that combines Ballet, Lyrical and Modern dance.
Exploring the freedom of movement, focusing on technique and performance. A safe space to enjoy the process of learning and express choreography in your own authentic way.
