This class introduces students to contemporary dance techniques founded in various styles including Jazz, Modern, Ballet, and African dance. Students learn gestural and pedestrian movements, floor work, and choreography integrated with studies in rhythm, speed, direction, and weight shifting.
(Suggested attire: fitted clothing including leggings, t-shirts or leotards; comfortable clothing for movement including sweat pants and sweatshirts for warm-up)
