This Methodology is designed to produce a professional dancer who knows exactly how their body works and understands the demands and requirements needed to achieve their career goals. When a child has a talent for dance, that talent needs to be respected and trained with great care, guiding the mind and the body of that dancer daily in all the components of dance which are required for a future career.
Elite is the only pre-professional training school offering classical ballet, contemporary and modern works while also providing both academic education from grades R through Matric.
More importantly, Elite believes that fostering artistic excellence requires more than physical training and takes care to educate, nurture, and inspire our students.
We offer wedding dance classes for couples in Latin, Ballroom and social styles of dancing, including the choreography of the dance. No two couples are the same, so we also tailor your dance to your skill and personality – making it easy to learn and remember, but also BIG on the WOW-factor!
Our modern classes cover a variety of styles/categories including Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Body conditioning, and on occasion, Musical theatre and African.
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
Contemporary Dance Lessons are offered by Hayman Dance Studio for all ages and abilities. It is our aim, not only to teach all our pupils everything they need to know about the basics of dance, but also to train them in the technical proficiency of their chosen dance form.
A new curriculum brought out by the ISTD, students will be taught the characteristics and principles particularly attributable to Contemporary Dance.
