Exams are offered in all disciplines and although they are not compulsory, they encourage students to work towards goals and persevere through challenges.

RAD ballet exams, and jazz and contemporary exams are held annually in August and an exam school in the July school holidays is required as a pre-requisite for the process.Â
Contemporary allows the dancer to explore their senses through dance. It encourages breadth of movement and the contrasts of using weight and lift to create movement.
