The uniqueness of Dancepointe’s Creative Pre School Ballet course over other players is the incorporation of Classical Ballet techniques to a Movement Class.
The aim of this course is to enhance the benefits of a Movement Class (mentioned above) and also introduce Classical Ballet in a fun way. Our Creative Ballet works with a combination of a THEME, movements with Classical Ballet techniques, music and story telling.
Props and toys are also used in the classroom to cultivate the children’s creativity and interest for the course
Added advantage from Dancepointe is our Live Pianist for selective ballet classes! The pianist will accompany the class with suitable music to teach children to execute coordinated dance steps at the right music tempo.
Established in 2005, Dancepointe Academy; Singapore Premier Dance Academy, has been providing invaluable dance education for dancers as young as 3 years old, through to professional levels such as Teachers and Company Dancers.
It started as a single brand Dancepointe, and later on in 2013, Dancepointe Academy was evolved as an umbrella to rebrand other dance genres into various faculties such as 5th Avenue School of Jazz & Street Dance, Dance Factory School of Kpop Dance and dACADEMY School of Contemporary Dance. Over the years, Dancepointe has grown to become one of the best ballet schools in Singapore.
Under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Commonwealth Society of Teachers’ Dancing (CSTD) syllabi, Dancepointe offers comprehensive Classical Ballet classes in Singapore through a progressive curriculum designed for children of 3 years old through to Professional levels such as Performer and Teaching Career.
We also bring in other dance certifications such as the CSTD (Commonwealth), ATOD (Australia) & RSL (U.K) for our Jazz , Hip Hop and Contemporary courses, now under our other brand names 5th Avenue, Dance Factory and dACADEMY.
Suitable for boys and girls of all abilities, all babyballet® classes are non-competitive and taught in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
This class is inspired by Classical Ballet warm-up exercises but are on the floor, instead of at the Barre.
Ballet Masterclasses will be held on Sundays (3 hours) and there will be one masterclass per term.
Students at Tanglin Arts Studio love building on a foundation of basic movements set to beautiful music as they grow their strength and abilities.
Ballet classes are divided into levels depending on age and ability. The levels are created according to the structure of the Paris Opera Ballet School.
