Hands-on croissant workshop is for any beginning or advanced baker looking to build up their baking skills. In this class, you will learn about the key techniques for working with a yeasted dough, creating a butter-laminated dough (layering the dough with butter and folding it over), filling the croissants, proofing them properly to achieve the right texture inside, and finally baking them to a rich golden brown perfection.
You will leave the class feeling full with plenty of croissants to sample, the knowledge and recipe to recreate them at home, and croissant dough to bake later at home. This class is led by Tim Young, lifelong Fort Worth resident and former chef turned real estate broker.
Tim is a croissant enthusiast, perfecting his croissant recipe and techniques for home bakers for several years now. Young is an urban life specialist; he spends his free time volunteering at Beautiful Feet Ministry, exploring Fort Worth and beyond with his wife Donna and poodle-Esteban.
