A form of dance that draws on modern dance technique and departs from classical dance technique by omitting structured form and movement.
Our modern dance classes for adults are taught with contemporary dance class influences at American Dance Institute. Classes start with a simple and effective warm-up to build strength and to stimulate core connections and body awareness.
This class focuses on letting go and stepping out of your comfort zone. A mixture of all dance styles it fuses together technique and passion. This dance style asks dancers to tell a story and to express deep emotions
Students will engage with the defining movement concepts of modern dance including suspension and release, fall and recovery, the use of momentum and connecting breath with movement
