The Edinburgh Summer Series (formerly The Edinburgh Summer Sessions) were created in 2012 to fill the gap between the end of classes in June and the long wait over the summer without regular dance classes.
Classes run over 5 consecutive days and are catered for those who regularly attend dance classes who want a chance to dance more intensively and for dancers in training.
All classes are aimed at dancers with some previous dance experience unless otherwise specified.

Get ready to dance away those lockdown love-handles! DanceFit is everything you need to get moving again. Packed with dance floor fillers to get those endorphines rushing, this class also includes strengthening and toning exercises in an easy-to-follow format.
Fitness classes are offered by The Vernon Johnson School Of Dance. It is one of the longest running dance schools in Liverpool. Whether you have one or two left feet anyone can learn to dance. There is something for all ages and abilities.
Dance Conditioning class will include drills and skills to work your muscles and strengthen your core, turn and jump technique. It will also focus on full body flexibility.
Dance Fitness and Tone classes are offered by Live Wire Dance Studio. Supporting dancers by offering year round, clean, affordable, central studio space for classes, rehearsals, workshops and more.
Conditioning classes are offered by Timms School of Dance. Students are encouraged to develop at their own pace which helps to make them feel at ease and confident, learning a new skill whilst having lots of fun, and making lots of new friends.
