What do you need to know before coming to a Cookery class at Cooking it?
The classes are BYO so bring a bottle or two if you want to have a drink whilst cooking.
Diets can be altered on request. However, some diets are difficult to accommodate in some of the cuisines. If in doubt just ask.
Before coming let us know of any dietary requirements, this will help us to organise ourselves. Over 14’s are welcome with a full paying adult (must have their own ticket)
Please bring containers to take the food away with you. Here are Cooking it we are trying to create as little waste as possible and we all have tupperwares at home!
All timings for the classes include the dinning. All classes are 100% hands-on and working in small groups or pairs.

Learning the art of making sour dough bread – Sourdough bread is made by the fermentation of dough using naturally occurring lactobacilli and yeast. The lactic acid produced by the lactobacilli gives it a more sour taste and improved keeping qualities.
In this class you will be making our classic white sourdough and seeded sourdough, as well as sourdough pizza for lunch. Designed to show how the techniques and processes used in a professional bakery can be applied at home, you will get hands-on experience mixing, shaping, scoring and baking.
