Whether you’re learning just for fun, or you’re getting ready for your next big show, our drum teachers are able to guide you on your musical journey.
Have you always wanted to play the drums? Playing the drums has its benefits. Not only can one get fit by playing drums, as a hardy session of drumming is a great way to burn those calories and sweating it out, but it also helps you learn good coordination!
To start off, make sure your posture is correct and the setup of the drums is comfortable for you. For posture, you should be in a relaxed manner with shoulders down and arms by your side.
You should not have to reach out too far to strike any portion of your playing area. Make sure your seat is not too high and your legs 90 degrees comfortably rested on the bass drum pedal. The drums and cymbals should be positioned in front of you so that you can comfortably reach every part of the kit.
