Ben started the School in 2018 to pass on his knowledge and love of drums. Since then the school has continued to grow.
Originally lessons were taught in Ben’s basement and later moved to the purpose built studio where lessons take place today.
The School strives to teach drums to beginners and more advanced. Over the years we have successfully helped a student gain a place at Leeds College of Music and many of our students have passed graded exams.
However, there is a lot more to drumming than grades and many people want to learn for enjoyment and career opportunities. Leeds Drum Lessons recognise the many different objectives of students. We will ensure that tailor made lessons are provided to target skill goals and help all abilities to achieve their goals; most importantly enjoy their drumming experience.

At MAM we like to get you playing quickly so in your very first (free) lesson our goal is to have you playing a short drum piece, using the entire drum kit right away and not just practising on a pad! You'll leave fully able to showcase your skills to your family and friends.
All our lessons are tailored to the individual student's needs, no two drummers are the same so we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to learning to play drums. We'll make sure we're always working towards your personal goals and playing the music you enjoy!
