Fashion: Modern materials, production techniques, supply chains and distribution channels have created an atmosphere of innovation and creativity unlike anything the fashion world has previously seen.Students will discover the fascinating world where beauty and creativity fuse with innovation and entrepreneurship.
Photography: Students will study photography both as a practical and an aesthetic venture while developing their visual vocabulary through the study of important photographers and photojournalists. The intent is to translate what the student sees and feels — whether using a professional DSLR or a smartphone camera — into photographs that express an artistic, narrative or journalistic perspective.
Film: Students will get a crash course in everything they need to know to create professional-looking short films using a smartphone or tablet. Today’s technology is powerful, but without a skillful understanding of how to wield it, even the best equipment can produce amateurish results. Students will gain an insider’s understanding of how one can harness these tools to produce professional products.
