In this seasonal class, our experienced Pastry Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step through the technical processes of perfecting the classic pie with its flaky butter crust and luscious fillings featuring the flavors of the season.
Learn the skilled processes of balancing ingredients, pie-dough making, proofing and blind-baking. Each student will have the choice of making one 9 inch pie or tart, or three mini pies/tarts. Choose between cream pies, chocolate pies, and fruit pies.
Once you have created your delicious masterpieces, you will then plate, decorate and devour your creations with your new found foodie friends. Or take your pie home and share it with family and friends.
After taking this class, make sure to tell your guests to save room for dessert because they are going to want to sample your newly honed baking skills this. season!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore.
