Join Blue Ribbon for this exciting new camp that will take your tastebuds on a tour of all the wonderful cuisine Italy has to offer. The entire week will focus on all the wonderful foods and culinary history Italy has to offer.
In this class, you will get the chance to learn how to prepare a delightful Italian cuisine, featuring flavors from Italy’s eight northern regions. This is an introduction into the rustic and traditional palette that Northern Italians know and love.
Chef Marcinda will teach classic and complex doughs to create pastas from around the world and pairing sauces. Students will get hands-on practice in making noodles from scratch sure to inspire any pasta creation.
Pasta Making class is offered by Flour + Water. With a menu that changes daily, the heart of the food program focuses on fresh, handmade pastas formed at Flour + Water Pasta Shop along with Neapolitan-style pizzas and seasonal antipasti.
Osso Buco: This to-die for rich Italian, restaurant style meal.. Osso Buco is veal shanks braised with vegetables, tomato sauce and broth with lots of fresh herbs then topped with Gremolata, minced garlic, chopped parsley and lemon zest, to brighten the flavor.
