Didsbury Theatre School was founded in South Manchester over 25 years ago.
The school provides learning opportunities in a range of performing arts disciplines, either for fun or development towards a professional career. Many of our students have pursued successful careers in the performing arts in the UK and overseas.

Jazz classes don’t follow a syllabus, instead featuring a wide variety of modern choreographic styles.
Modern Jazz is the ‘icing on the cake subject’ and all our youngsters look forward to joining these classes as soon as they can. Classes are lively, noisy, energetic and full of fun, everyone wants to do them!
Jazz dance classes are offered by SR Dance Academy. We provide dance classes to children and adults. We offer a safe haven for students to meet new friends, express themselves through dance and overall build self esteem.
Jam Dance’s aim is to teach and inspire their students to develop their technical knowledge and ability as well as instilling confidence and passion for dance and performance.
The teacher adapts the routines to suit individuals so this class is suitable for all levels (except professional level).
