Following in the entrepreneurial footsteps of her mother, Rhonda Kave (left) opened Roni-Sue’s in 2007, claiming her namesake sign from the clothing store her mother owned to carry on the legacy in a new way.Sharon Hoahing (right) is the general manager. Together this two-woman team makes, bakes, and operates Roni-Sue’s Chocolates.
Roni-Sue is a co-founder in Belize based MOHO Chocolate Company where chocolate is made by local artisans using organic Mayan cacao. At Roni-Sue’s we use these same organic cacao nibs from Belize to make our house made dark chocolate. (Shhhh, it’s the secret to our critically acclaimed hot chocolate) as well as the delicious, fruity base for many of our rich dark chocolate ganache truffles.
A class for young chefs and their parents to work together in the kitchen. In this class, you will learn the techniques of making chocolate bon bons, creating truffles from molds, and achieving the perfect ganache.
As far as we’re concerned, the best thing about Valentine’s Day is chocolate. You heard us! We love all chocolate but homemade truffles might just be our favorite.
Ornament Workshop is a fun workshop where you will learn how to use a two sided mold filled with chocolate. You will also learn how to dust and decorate your ornament using different techniques.
Together we'll learn how to brew and taste three floral teas, sourced from our friends at The Qi, paired along with our single-origin dark chocolates.
Indulge in the world of delightful chocolate candy making with our fun-filled class led by Chocolatier Joanna Lepore Dwyer. Kids and adults alike will embark on a sweet journey as they learn to craft their favorite chocolate treats at home.
