Kelly Hurlbutt created Excels Dance Academy back in 2006. The group originally met in a small church hall, but since the classes have proved more popular they now take place at Hollymoor Centre. Excels provides a range of different dance classes from ballet to street dancing.
Our Taught Adults Gymnastics sessions are suitable for absolute beginners all the way up to the experienced! With the beginners classes you will get a great understanding on how fundamental good basics are in starting gymnastics.
Our General Gymnastics courses will be supervised by fully qualified coaches, children will learn basic gymnastics on our; Sprung floor, Floor Beam, Foam Vaulting Blocks, Fast Track, Tumble Track, Bars and Trampoline.
Gymnastic movements form a large part of Functional Fitness training and though you will encounter these movements on a regular basis, the Gymnastic courses will give you more dedicated time to work on technique and that all important strength.
